Invitation

Please join Greater Iowa City, Inc.'s Board of Directors, Innovation Councils, Ambassadors, investors, and members in celebrating the past year under the banner of a new organization. We look forward to sharing new milestones with the community and discussing what’s ahead in 2025.

This event serves as the organization’s Annual Meeting and will include a happy hour reception, dinner, and program at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Coralville on November 21st, 2024.  The event will include an important vote to update the historic 1939 Articles of Incorporation. In addition, we will share:

  • highlights of the past year’s impact,
  • unveiling of 3 new strategic investment districts,
  • a new data dashboard with business climate and quality of life metrics, and  
  • updates on business support, advocacy, and regional transportation opportunities.

Guest Speaker

Our guest speaker, Dr. Denise Jamieson, vice president for medical affairs and dean of the UI Carver College of Medicine, will provide a glimpse into the University of Iowa Health Care's growth and direction, and inspirations from her own journey to Iowa from the east coast.

This serves as notice of a change to the organization’s 1939 Articles of Incorporation at this meeting.  Members are requested to review this draft Update of the Articles and affirm the FY25 Board of Directors by vote when called by the Board Secretary.
