This week’s 1 Million Cups presenters will be four local entrepreneurs taking part in the Dream City Builders Series Accelerator.

• Kisha Smith of L’Catering Fare Boutique is helping people transition from traditional eating to intentional plant-based living without sacrificing flavor, culture, or familiarity.
• Laura Cottrell-Atekwana of ThrowBack Kitchen is bringing a 90s-inspired mobile food experience to life with familiar comfort food and an unforgettable remix.
• Marcus Johnson of Major’s Fire Kitchen is building a food business rooted in bold flavor and family traditions.
• Aaliyah Johnson of Aaliyah J Events is creating luxury events designed to deliver unforgettable memories.

During their presentations, each entrepreneur will share more about their business, what they’re building, and how the community can support their next steps.

1 Million Cups is a free, nationwide program designed to educate, engage, and accelerate early-stage startups. We believe in the notion that entrepreneurs can discover solutions and thrive when they collaborate over a million cups of coffee. Drop in our community of innovators and entrepreneurship enthusiasts to connect and support our local startups. Community members are welcome to attend even if they are not an entrepreneur. Every Wednesday, 9 to 10am. Always free and open to the public. No registration required.
